Poland has extended the legal stay for citizens of Ukraine until June 30, 2024.

The law was published on February 21, 2024, and comes into effect on the day following the day of announcement.

Legal Basis:

The Act of February 9, 2024, amending the Act on Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine in Connection with the Conflict on the Territory of that State, the Personal Income Tax Act, and the Corporate Income Tax Act.

FAQ

The first step is to sign up via a link on the website https://forms.office.com/e/HM6w1er9BY for the waiting list. Several times a year we send a message to the entire waiting list at the same time to the email address provided, inviting them to specific courses. Then the first-come, first-served rule applies. As soon as possible, you need to fill out the application form from the message. This is followed by a short phone call, during which we check the language level of those who have signed up for the course and assign them to the appropriate group. Our classes usually start in January, April and September, but sometimes we have additional courses. The groups are divided into Slavic and non-Slavic-speaking.

We offer both paid and free courses. Detailed information is available at the MIP office.

NO. This is because Slavic-speaking people learn Polish much faster and easier. Such a study would not be satisfactory to either party.

At MIP, we speak Polish, Ukrainian, English, and Russian. If needed and depending on our capacity, we also try to provide someone for consultations who can interpret other languages (e.g., Spanish).
